Greyhound Epiphany by Jere Mottino

i've never done this before... but i got an email from a friend of a friend and dug it... so i'm posting it =) and even though Jere wrote this while on a greyhound bus ride, its still solid...
the following words and thoughts are ones that he wants to spread to all open, radical minds ... enjoy!!!

GREYHOUND EPIPHANY
"We are ALL ONE.
The ONE is the ALL,
and the ALL is the ONE.
No man or woman is the inferior, nor the superior...
RACE, RELIGION, PRIDE, EGO, GREED...
These are all Instruments of SEPARATION.
Some of you DO NOT or WILL NOT fathom this at this time,
and that is fine.
The seed has been planted, and it is up to you to:
WATER, NURTURE, and GROW this DIVINE TRUTH...
There are no coincidences, we have all gathered here for a reason...
You chose to be born in this time, and you chose to be here to share this moment...
I am no prophet, no messiah, no "higher being"...
I think of myself more as a radio, picking up frequencies...
FREQUENCIES OF TRUTH, being broadcast by the universe...
I am merely a vessel channeling this message...
UNITY, HAPPINESS, JOY, LOVE...
These are Instruments of CONNECTION.
Some of you DO understand this, and you are truly FREE.
I congratulate you on your personal revolution...
your personal revelation...
HOWEVER,
these tools, these gifts, these ideals,
ARE NOT YOURS...
They are to be spread, like a BEAUTIFUL CANCER,
to EVERYONE, to EVERYTHING...
The human mind is a POWERFUL TOOL,
yet it can also be an UNPICKABLE LOCK...
This knowledge is the KEY...
Everyone, and everything serves a purpose...
BUT KNOW THIS...
You will never stop learning, until you DIE...
But what is death? Simply a part of life...
BEAUTY cannot, and will not last forever,
that is what makes things BEAUTIFUL...
Cherish this moment... for right now,
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
Yesterday is gone...
And Tomorrow isnt here...
All we have is RIGHT NOW...
All we have is OURSELVES...
We are ALL ONE.
The ONE is the ALL,
and the ALL is the ONE..." - Jere Mottino

  1. thank you so much for posting it...
he came to visit me to get away from what he explained as his close minded city where he performs to an audience he never really feels truly care about anything... zombies going to the bar to be entertained ... so on his visit to Vegas I organized the Yayo tacos art show... with music and artist i wanted to showcase.." ECHOES OF CHANGE" while he was here we discussed very deep subjects... and on his way home left very pensive and in obscure thought on his way home on the Grey hound bus... until the moment when he begged anyone for a pen immediately as a overwhelming feeling of words needed to be puke out! and these are the words ... "the Grey hound epiphany"

    so thanks again Roxy!

  2. its my pleasure! some of the stuff he talks about solidifies some of the feelings i've been having but haven't gotten around to writing about... i think i met him that night at your show... he's good people!

girly, you're the one that said this was a movement! so it feels good to help someone with the same views as myself... the kind of views that will help change this world for the better =)

  4. I actually read it earlier tonight at an open mic out here ((Fresno CA)). Its crazy, cuz performing my songs is almost second nature, but presenting this was SCARY..... But i realized, it was only scary because of how closed minded the people are out here.... and that was all the more reason why i HAD TO READ IT...... i reached a few people, and that was all that mattered.... the other seeds i planted may eventually grow... who knows :)

Thank you everyone that took the time to read it, i am tottally compelled to share this with everyone....

  5. @jakka ~ you're VIP homie ;)

@jere ~ you know as long as you reach at least one person then you've began the ripple of enlightenment... it always starts with one... and soon it will be common place. as long as we continue to speak the truth then eventually we'll break thru to the close minded

we'll break on thru to the other side ;)

  7. Nice. I wholeheartedly agree with this. I wish more people looked at the world this way.

  8. with the way things are in our society today, where division subtly sets in people's lives through social status, religion, race and such, this truly epitomizes the right idea. until we can remove selfish behavior and remember what we were taught about respect in school, a unified world will remain a vision. but i think we should be hopeful and keep on moving towards this. as thrice lyrically conveyed, "true progress means matching the world to the vision in our heads, but we always change the vision instead." so let's aim for true progress!
